Session replay
Watch real sessions, privately
Replay what visitors saw and did, page by page. It runs on the analytics script you already have — switch it on in the project settings.
What you get
No second install
Recording uses the analytics script. Turn it on per project and record anywhere from 1% to 100% of sessions.
Private by default
Typed values are masked from the start. Mask all text, mask the elements you choose, or keep them out entirely.
Only sessions worth watching
Short visits are discarded — under 10 seconds unless you change it — and recordings stop at a length you set, up to 4 hours.
A player built for scanning
Play at up to 4× speed, with idle time skipped and a timeline of the pages visited.
Find the right session
Filter by date and length, search by page, or show only sessions with errors.
From problem to replay
Frustration signals in Bottlenecks link straight to the recording where they happened.
With AI
Recordings, summarised
Open a recording and read what the visitor did in a few lines before you watch it — and search recordings by those summaries.
How it works
Enable session recordings in your analytics project’s settings.
Keep input masking on, and mask or block anything else that is sensitive.
Open any recording from the project’s Recordings list.
Privacy
Recording is off until you turn it on, and typed values are masked by default. Elements marked with the data-userlily-block attribute are never captured: each one is replaced by an empty box of the same size.
