Terms of Service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These terms cover your use of userlily — the dashboard, and the scripts, links and pages it gives you to put in front of your own visitors.

Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using userlily you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you use userlily for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it, and “you” includes that organisation.

The beta

userlily is in beta. Features may change, move between plans or be removed, and there may be interruptions while we improve the service. We will try to give notice of changes that affect you.

Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to have an account.
  • Give accurate sign-up details and keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
  • Tell us straight away at the address below if you think someone else has accessed it.

Your content

You keep ownership of what you put into userlily and of the data it collects for you — feedback, responses, analytics, recordings and subscribers. You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to run userlily for you, including sending it to the service providers listed in the Privacy Policy.

Your visitors

When you install userlily on your site, you decide what is collected from your visitors, and we process it on your behalf. That makes you responsible for:

  • Telling your visitors, in your own privacy notice, what you collect with userlily and why.
  • Getting consent where the law requires it — for example before analytics cookies or session recording in the EU and UK.
  • Keeping sensitive information — passwords, payment card details, health data and the like — out of recordings, using input masking, text masking or data-userlily-block.
  • Only sending web push notifications to people who chose to receive them, and only messages they would expect.
  • Answering your visitors’ privacy requests. We will help you with the data we hold for you.

Acceptable use

You must not use userlily to:

  • break the law or infringe anyone’s rights;
  • collect data on a site you do not own or have permission to measure;
  • send spam, scams or malware, including through web push or roadmap pages;
  • publish fake reviews, or show a review badge in a way that misleads — for example presenting a filtered selection as all of your reviews;
  • try to get into other accounts or data, or test, probe or overload our systems without our written permission;
  • resell or rebrand userlily as your own service without our agreement.

Public pages and links

Feedback pages, surveys, public roadmaps, review badges and attached screenshots can be opened by anyone who has their link. You choose what to publish, and you are responsible for it — including approving visitor comments before they appear when you moderate them.

AI features

AI features produce suggestions — tags, summaries, explanations and draft text — that can be wrong or incomplete. Check them before you rely on them or publish them. AI features have a daily usage limit, which may change.

Third-party services

Some features depend on other companies’ services: Google when you connect Google Analytics, browser makers’ push services for web push, and AI model providers for AI features. Their own terms also apply to that use, and we are not responsible for their services.

Fees

Every plan is free during the beta. The prices shown in our pricing are a preview and may change. We will tell you before any plan becomes paid, and you will not be charged unless you agree to it.

Plans are priced on monthly pageviews and can be paid monthly or yearly; yearly prices, also a preview, are ten months' price for twelve. The highest tier, 10M+, covers normal use of a very large site; if a site's traffic is far beyond that, we may ask to agree a custom plan with you before charging for it.

Suspension and closing

  • You can stop using userlily at any time. To have your projects and the data in them deleted, email us — deleting your account alone does not yet erase them.
  • We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts other users or visitors at risk, or is required to be closed by law. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you first and explain why.
  • We may stop offering userlily altogether. If we do, we will give reasonable notice so you can take your data out first.

Disclaimers

userlily is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promises that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that its figures — visitor counts, locations, conversion rates and the like — are exact. Analytics are estimates, and some visitors block or are not counted by tracking scripts.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to userlily is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where userlily’s operator is established. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change we will update the date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you before it takes effect. If you keep using userlily after that, the new terms apply; if you do not agree, you can stop using it.
